About Sam:
Coach Sam embarked on his swimming journey as a young child and amassed a collection of medals in both swimming and water polo during his competitive years. As this era drew to a close, he transitioned into the realm of coaching in 2010, becoming a part of the Advanced Aquatics team in 2011. His coaching journey was marked by collaborations with national and international swimmers and coaches, allowing him to accumulate invaluable experience. In recognition of his expertise, he was honored with the title of “Super Coach Malaysia” by the Advanced Aquatics company in 2014.
By 2018, Coach Sam felt that he had accrued a wealth of knowledge and skills, making him well-equipped to lead a team. It was during this time that he founded the SamSwim Academy. While establishing his academy, he dedicated himself to teaching a diverse range of age groups, from infants and children to teenagers and adults, rapidly earning a stellar reputation.
Over the course of 12 years coaching in Malaysia, Coach Sam played a pivotal role in imparting essential swimming and survival skills to hundreds of children. Now, he has set his sights on a new chapter in his career, with a mission to continue his impactful work in the United Arab Emirates.
